Heat the salt stone slowly before use until the desired temperature is reached. To do this, gradually increase your oven temperature. Once the frying temperature has been reached, your food will be cooked gently and indirectly thanks to the even heat distribution.

When in direct contact with the salt stone, the food absorbs salt from the surface. This gives meat, fish and vegetables a characteristic salt note. Depending on your taste, additional salting can be omitted.

The salt plate can be used for cooking fish, seafood, meat, vegetables and much more. In addition to use in the oven, the stone can also be placed on gas and charcoal grills.

Additionally, you can serve your food on the stone so that it stays warm for a long time. Alternatively, the salt plank can also be used as a serving platter for cold dishes such as sushi, cheese, carpaccio, smoked salmon, salads, desserts or fruit.

When used correctly, the salt stone has a long lifespan and can be reused multiple times. Never clean the salt stone under running water, in a water bath or with dishwashing liquid. Simply use a damp sponge to remove food residue and then pat the stone dry.
